FDM
FDM, or Fused Deposition Modeling, is a 3D printing technology developed and popularized by Stratasys, the maker of our machines at POP. These industrial machines use heated dual extrusion (support and model materials) to produce robust and sometimes very large parts with a relatively high degree of accuracy.

MATERIAL OPTIONS
At POP we carry a wide range of thermoplastic FDM materials, including:
- ABS in various colors (natural, white, and black are always in stock)
- ASA in various colors (natural, white, and black are always in stock)
- PC-ABS (black)
- PC (white, black, clear)
- Ultem 9085 (tan and black)
- Nylon 12 and Nylon 12CF (black)
- TPU 92A (black and clear/cloudy ice)
- Other specialty materials, including flame-rated PC-ABS, are in stock as well... and if you don't see it on the list, ask!

Recommended for only 0.007" and under FDM or PolyJet prints

Results are best with 0.007" and under FDM prints. Works only with ABS and ASA FDM materials.

A longer-lead time, higher-priced option suitable for large batches of parts or applications where aesthetics are critical.
